很早以前用过AppleII，翻过一本厚厚的白色封皮上有被咬过一口的彩色苹果的Apple机BASIC编程，想我要长多大才能把这本书看懂。

这么多年过去了，苹果还在，乔布斯逐渐被公众熟悉，却又离我们远去。

如果你可以当一个海盗，为何要加入海军？

Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?

活着就是为了改变世界，难道还有其他原因吗？

We're here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise why else even be here?

你的时间有限，所以不要为别人而活。不要被教条所限，不要活在别人的观念里。不要让别人的意见左右自己内心的声音。最重要的是，勇敢的去追随自己的心灵和直觉，只有自己的心灵和直觉才知道你自己的真实想法，其他一切都是次要。

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma C which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.

佛教中有一句话：初学者的心态；拥有初学者的心态是件了不起的事情。

There’s a phrase in Buddhism, ‘Beginner’s mind.’ It’s wonderful to have a beginner’s mind.

所谓初学者的心态是指，不要无端猜测、不要期望、不要武断也不要偏见。初学者的心态正如一个新生儿面对这个世界一样，永远充满好奇、求知欲、赞叹。

你必须相信一些东西――勇气、命运、生命、缘分，随便什么。这种相信从不会使我倒下，反而使我的生命变得与众不同。

You have to trust in something ―― your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

我热爱我所做的事，这就是这些年来支撑我走下去的唯一理由。你需要去找到你所爱的东西。对于工作是如此，对于你的爱人也是如此。

I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers.
